Cabiao Water District is a young but rapidly growing district servicing the requirement of the residents of the municipality Cabiao for potable water at the cheapest price.

 

 

ITS BEGINNING AND GROWING YEARS

Cabiao Water District started its operation on September 03, 1997. With P5.4 million loan secured from LWUA, it has constructed a deep well, a pump house and an elevated steel water reservoir in Brgy. San Roque and laid out 3-km. service pipe lines covering greatly the town proper of Cabiao. Collection was a measly P150,000 during its first year of operation with 50 concessionaires and with only 3 manpower staff using the pump house as its office. Five years later, collection grew to P6.0 million. Buoyed by these success, Cabiao Water District augmented its growth by professionalizing its organization, making sure that the quality of its service is at the highest standard.

 

WHAT IT IS TODAY

Today Cabiao Water District has extended its main service pipe lines to 20 barangays of Cabiao. With the completion of its 5th pumping station in Brgy. Sta Ines. Cabiao Water District has plenty of water more than enough to provide 24-hour service to its more than 9000 concessionaires and accommodate up to 1,000 new connections. From its small pump house in Brgy. San Roque, Cabiao Water District, with 42 regular employees, and 23 daily paid workers, now holds office at Rms. 201, 202, 203 & 204 of the Crespo Building located at the very heart of Cabiao. In so far as its loans repayment with LWUA is concerned, Cabiao Water District is up-to-date.

 

 

ITS ORGANIZATION

Cabiao Water District takes pride in having a professional organization while keeping the family spirit alive. Its General Manager is Mr. Ernesto C. Diaz, a graduate of Civil Engineering at University of the East. The Chairman of board of Directors is Engr. Manuel L. Lugtu. The other members of the Board are Dr. Antonio P. Gabriel, a Doctor of Medicine by profession, Romulo B. Santiano, Esperanza Tiangco, Cenen R. Ruallos ; representing professional sector, educational sector, business sector and women sector, respectively.

 

 

THE FUTURE

The prospects for Cabiao Water District are bright. Opportunities for expansion and growth are promising. With competent stewardship and team spirit, Cabiao Water District is envisioned to be reliable partner of the municipal government of Cabiao in continuous effort to improve the quality of life for a better community.

 

One to Two years from now, Cabiao Water District sees itself as having an administration building of its own and covers the entire Cabiao municipality with service lines.
